Disputes – International

The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau attempt to stem separatist violence, cross border raids, and arms smuggling into their countries from Senegal's Casamance region.

Refugees & Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)

In 2013, there were 13,703 refugees from Mauritania. Also in that same year, there were 24,000 IDPs due to clashes between government troops and separatists in Casamance region.
